How accurate is the data?
iCivic combines open data (official institutional feeds) with GPS-verified citizen reports. AI then refines predictions by analysing historical patterns — hour, day, season. The more reports a location has, the more reliable the estimate.
Is iCivic really free?
Yes. Core features — live map, basic AI predictions, check-ins and gamification — are free. Certain advanced AI-intensive features (hyper-personalised predictions, extended history) may become optional paid add-ons in the future — but nothing will be removed for those who join now.
What about my privacy?
Your GPS coordinates stay on your device — they are never sent to our servers. They are used locally, only to verify that a check-in matches a real location at the moment you submit it. No continuous tracking, no data sales, no account required to view wait times. iCivic complies with Quebec's Law 25. We collect only what is necessary to improve data accuracy — anonymously.
When do Android and the rest of Quebec arrive?
The Outaouais first, then the rest of Quebec region by region. iOS and Android launch simultaneously. Join early access to be notified the moment iCivic reaches you.
